Richard Pitman starts a solo conveyancing and probate practice in Glen Waverley
David Sharrock starts his career as a commercial lawyer, working in suburban law firms, including as the commercial partner at a Box Hill firm, assisting for profit businesses and not-for-profit organisations
David Sharrock acquires Richard Pitman’s law firm and launches Sharrock Pitman Legal in Glen Waverley, with Richard retiring
Our law practice is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as specialising in Commercial Law and thereafter experiences steady, solid growth with a growing team
The firm moves to new, larger business premises in Glen Waverley. Today our team includes Accredited Specialists in Property Law, Commercial Law, Workplace Relations, and Wills & Estates
We start a mediation service called DisputeOver, for workplace and business disputes
Sharrock Pitman Legal becomes an incorporated legal practice, with long term employees Andre Ong and Mitchell Zadow joining David Sharrock in partnership.
We also launch a community-based business club called The School of Hard Knocks for Stressed Business People and Reluctant Entrepreneurs, for business owners and executive and board members of not-for-profit organisations
We launch a business consultancy and networking forum called The Reluctant Entrepreneur, to assist our customers with their business needs
We publish a practical, business workbook entitled Fighting for Enterprise Success: through the eye of the tiger, to assist our customers with key business fundamentals
As at 31 December, David Sharrock retires from partnership
Mitchell Zadow and Andre Ong continue to lead Sharrock Pitman Legal, supported by a large, high performance team
